This is a wide-angle lens that enables rendering of a natural visual sensation, and it can be used for handheld snapshot photography. Combined with the F2.8 brightness, this lens provides a natural out-of-focus (bokeh) effect with a wide angle. AF/MF switching can be performed quickly by simply sliding the entire focus ring forward or backward, and manual focusing can easily be used immediately after focusing by AF for making fine adjustments.
