"An exceptionally sharp, bright, and fast lens with consistent performance and solid handling. A lens with real substance. Its weight is actually an advantage. It feels reassuring in use and delivers with confidence every time. I highly recommend it without reservation. A lens to keep firmly mounted on a body."
"The lens itself is a jewel: The best bokeh I have ever seen. Better than Canon 50/1. 2 L and better than the Leica Summilux-M 50/1. 4. And I own them both. But there is also a downside: Viewfinder AF in dim light is not precise at f/1. 4 with the K1-II. I already improved it a little bit with the AF fine adjustment and spot AF, but there remain problems with the focus accuracy: Sometimes the K1-II focuses a little in front, sometimes a little behind the subject, if the contrast of the subject is a bit lower and/or the light is dim. With the K3-III it is better. Contrast AF in both cameras works flawlessly and very precise at f/1. 4 in these conditions, so that this will be my workaround. Pentax: Please bring a better AF module with the K1-III, which solves the described problems with his stunning lens. When does this K1-III will come to the market? All the best, Simon"
